This is a detailed explanation of how to use Recordmycall Replay. It covers the following scenarios:

  • Replay your recording from the phone used to make that recording

How do I replay a recording?
Dial 0871 220 7677 to connect to Recordmycall Replay.

You will hear the following*:

"Welcome to Recordmycall Replay. Please enter your PIN Code, followed by Hash. To start again, press Star."

Enter the PIN of the recording you wish to replay, followed by Hash. Provided that you have entered the correct PIN, you will hear the following:

"You have <x> new recordings and <y> stored recordings.
<z> recordings will be deleted within the next 24 hours.
"

The recording you have selected will then be replayed.

*(unless your number is “Unavailable”)


How do I replay a recording over a phone which is not the one used to make the recording?

Dial 0871 220 7677 to connect to Recordmycall Replay.

You will hear the following*:

"Welcome to Recordmycall Replay. Please enter your PIN Code, followed by Hash. To start again, press Star."

Press the Hash key only. You will hear the following:

"Please enter your phone number, followed by Hash."

Enter the number of the phone used to make the Recording which you wish to replay, followed by Hash. You will hear the following:

"Please enter your PIN Code, followed by Hash. To start again, press Star."

After you have entered the PIN of the Recording which you wish to replay, followed by Hash, you will hear the following:

"You have <x> new recordings and <y> stored recordings.
<z> recordings will be deleted within the next 24 hours.
"

The recording you have selected will then be replayed.

How do I replay a recording if my number is “Unavailable”?

Dial 0871 220 7677 to connect to Recordmycall Replay.

You will hear the following message:

"Welcome to Recordmycall. Please enter your phone number, followed by Hash. To start again, press Star. "

Enter the phone number which you dialled when you made the recording, followed by Hash. You will hear the following:

"Please enter your PIN Code. To start again, press Star."

After you have entered the PIN of the recording you wish to replay, followed by Hash, you will hear the following:

"You have <x> new recordings and <y> stored recordings.
<z> recordings will be deleted within the next 24 hours.
"

The recording you have selected will then be replayed.


What are the options available while a recording is being replayed?

while a recording is being replayed, you can select from the following:

 

Replay menu

 

Key 1

Re-start the replay

 

Key 2

Pause or resume

 

Key 4nn#

Skip back nn seconds and then continue the replay

 

Key 6nn#

Skip forward nn seconds and then continue the replay

 

Key 8

Stop the replay and listen to the Replay options

 

Key 0

Stop the replay and go to the Main menu

 

 

 

 

If you press key 0 to go to the Main menu, you can select from the following:


 

Main menu

 

Key 1

Replay the recording

 

Key 2

Listen to the recording details

 

Key 3

Select a different recording

 

Key 5

Save the recording for an extra 90 days

Change the PIN of the recording

 

 

 

 

If you press key 3 at the Main menu to select a different recording, you can select from the following:


 

Change Call Recording menu

 

Key 0

Go to the Main menu

 

Key 1

Select the oldest recording

 

Key 2

Listen to a summary of stored recordings

 

Key 3

Select the most recent recording

 

Key 4

Select the previous recording

 

Key 6

Select the next recording

 

Key 8

Listen to a list of options

 

 

 



What should I do if I have a problem replaying a call?

Please send an email to info@recordyourcall.co.uk giving the following
information:

  • Details of the call recording

    The date and time when you made the call
    The number you called from when you made the recording
    The number you called when you made the recording

  • The date and time you tried to replay the recording

  • A description of the problem

  • Any other information that may help us to trace the problem.
