To record a call to a UK mobile or selected international destinations, dial 07030 399 500.

Can I record a call to any number?

You can record a call to most UK landlines and mobile phones and selected international destinations.

Record Your Call does not record calls to:

  • Emergency & other operator services
  • Personal Numbers
  • Premium Rate Services

When do I start paying for a call

When the message "Welcome to Record Your Call" is played to you. You pay for the call whether or not you get through to the person you want to speak to, so you are advised to hang up if you hear the engaged tone or after a short period if there is no reply.

Can I interrupt any of the Record Your Call messages?

Yes, in particular as soon as you are connected to Record Your Call, you can enter the number of the person you want to speak to.

Can I withhold my number when I make a call?

Yes, if you do withhold your number, it is still withheld from the person you are calling. Remember if you do this, you cannot use our "numbers I call from" feature that does away with the need for PIN numbers. Instead, the service will give you a pin number as we cannot recognise you because your number is withheld.

What is the PIN for?

The PIN is used to identify the recording. When you wish to get a copy of the recording, you will be asked to enter its PIN and the phone number you called.

How will I remember the PIN?

Its 6 digits long so we suggest you make a note of it for each call along with the phone number you called.

We recommend you download our free call recording log sheet to keep a note of the details for each call.

If you use the services regularly, why not add the phone numbers you call from to your "numbers I call from" feature in your settings when you login. This will save you the hassle of having to remember the pin number each time, and automatically adds each and every recording you make to your "my recordings page".

What if I change the PIN and then forget/lose it?

You will not be able to get a copy of the recording, please contact our support line for help with this. We recommend you download our free call recording log sheet to keep a note of the details for each call.

How long will the recording be available?

You can replay the recording for up to 6 months from the date it was made. After 6 months it will be deleted and you will not be able to get a copy of it. To avoid losing it, simply register for an account and download your recording onto your computer.

What should I do if there is a problem recording a call?

Please contact support giving the following information:

  • The date and time when you made the call
  • The phone number you called from
  • The phone number you were calling
  • A description of the problem
  • Any other information that may help us to trace the problem.

I would like to use record your call for telephone interviews, radio interviews or other applications that need really good call recording quality, what can I do?

There is a setting when you login under your account in My Settings > Advanced settings called "Call Quality," change this setting from low to high. This will increase the quality of each outbound (and inbound) call to the maximum available on a telephone line. With this feature turned to "high" it will generate larger recordings, so expect large files to download.
