As well as downloading calls to your computer or mobile device to listen to, it is also possible to listen to your recordings from any phone.
How it Works
Dial 0872 110 3001*
When prompted, enter the phone number you called and PIN you were given
Your recording is then played. Hang up when finished, or use the options to listen to more recordings
Points to Note:
There is no cost to use the replay service other than the call cost which is 13p per minute plus your phone company's access charge.
Please check with your service provider and get the bill payer's permission before calling.
We keep recordings that you have made (via Record Your Call) for 30 days on our system, then we archive them in our library. Don't worry, you can still access recordings that were made after 30 days, however you may have to wait a short time whilst Record Your Call Replay retrieves the recording from our archives.
Record Your Call handles hundreds of thousands of calls a day and as such we have an archiving system that moves recordings to permanent archival on another system within our network after 30 days. These recordings are compressed and encrypted for long-term storage. When you call our replay service and enter the details of an old recording, it first has to request the recording from the archive, then transfer, unpack and decrypt the recording so you can listen to it. This can take a few minutes sometimes, especially if the recording is over 45 mins as it uses greater compression which can take a little longer to unpack.
Record Your Call Replay allows you to call in and request the recording, then (if archived) allows you to call back in 10 minutes while it prepares your recording ready for playback. Once you enter the details of the recording, you are offered to either stay on the line or call back - choose the option that suits. If you choose to stay on the line, you will hear hold music until your recording is ready.
We store call recordings for a maximum of 10 years. If you need longer, we suggest you download the recording from our website to a PC or mobile device, or use one of our businesses packages for ongoing storage.
You can choose still to be given a PIN even if you use the "Numbers I Call From" feature to have calls automatically assigned to your account. To do this, log in to your account and make sure the "Give PIN" option is selected for the number you are calling from. You can also see the PIN for all your previous call recordings by logging in to your account and viewing the information for each recording on your My Recordings page.
Sorry, no. It's part of the security of the service to protect your - and other customers' - recordings. If you have lost the PIN please contact our support team.
